May of the this year (2006) I visited Washington DC with a group of Chamber members. Congressman Ray LaHood put together a line up of great speakers from the DC area. Here is Senator John McCain who was introduced to us as a strong Republican contender for President in 2008.

Senator Barack Obama was another speaker who gave us a perspective on his short tenure in the Senate.
